Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp cream of tarter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsps vanilla

Instructions

Sift flour, soda, cream of tartar in one bowl; set aside. Cream sugars, butter, eggs, and shortening; add flour mixture. Chill for two hours. Roll and cut out shapes. Bake at 350° on greased cookie sheet. Also good with powdered sugar icing.
