Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup white karo
  • 1 cup Pet milk (canned evaporated milk)
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • pinch salt
  • 3 cups raw peanuts
  • red food coloring
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

Mix all ingredients except vanilla and bring to a boil, simmer very slowly for one hour. Remove from heat, add vanilla and beat until very creamy. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.

(When it starts to boil keep turning heat down, when it is boiling on low heat, then start timing for one hour.)

Do not stir while cooking for one hour.
