Pecan Pie - Aunt Ruby's recipe

Description

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup dark Karo syrup
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

 Beat eggs and then beat in sugar; add Karo. Add vanilla and vinegar. Beat until sugar is dissolved. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Place nuts on top. Bake @ 300° about 1 hour.

Recipe originally from Aunt Ruby Sims, Nell's aunt. Sweetest little lady you'd ever want to meet, but she never knew how to whisper! No one could take care of her but Nell.
