Description
Ingredients
- 1 qt nuts, chopped
- 1 lb Dates, chopped
- 1/2 lb Cherries, chopped
- 1/2 lb pineapple, chopped
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tsps baking powder
- 4 egg yolks (reserve whites)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 4 egg whites
Instructions
Place all chopped up fruit in large bowl. Cover with 1cup flour and 2 teaspoons baking powder.
Beat egg yolks and add 1 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla; beat until fluffy.
Pour over nuts and fruit mixture.
Beat egg whites (not too dry) and fold in the above mixture.
Grease and flour a baking pan, it could be large loaf pan or Bundt pan.
Bake on 250° for two hours.
