Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup milk

Instructions

Place butter and chopped pecans in oven at 350° for 15 minutes.

Cream: Oleo, sugar; add vanilla; add one (1) at a time, eggs then sift together flour, baking powder, and salt, add alternately with milk.

Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

Frosting:

3 Tbsp Oleo
3 C Confectioner Sugar
2 1/2 tsp Cream
3/4 tsp vanilla
1/3 c pecans
