Terrific, I'll contact you by email and get things setup so you can help us with testing the new features.

As I mentioned, new features will let you have ...

    • front and back covers with full page images
    • inside cover page(s) that can also include full page images
    • divider or section pages that can also include full page images
    • additional pages in between the recipes for stories, content, images, etc.
    • insert additional images into the text areas on the recipes
    • and more ....

So you should be able to accomplish what you've described.

Look for an email from me and we'll get you setup, might be a couple of days. In the meantime, keep going, you're doing great!

    Thanks,

    Bob

    Hi Bob,
I'd be happy to work with you on the new features. I'm not the expert in the family, I'm just the one organizing the project. However, I've been learning the program features as I enter recipes and also working with another family member on the photo issues. Right now we have a great photo collage for the cover page, and probably a similar collage for the back cover. We'd also consider making full page photos or additional collages for divider/section pages. Of course, more than one photo per recipe page would be ideal.
Just let me know what I can do, and if it's beyond my ability, I'll get my much-younger-helper to explain it to me!
    Thanks for the opportunity.
    Antonia

    PS
I'm happy to send a copy of the collage so that you can see what we're up to.

OK, we went ahead and put a PDF translation for the characters you're having trouble with (Unicode/U+2000 general punctuation - single, forward, backward quotes, and a dash character). Don't mean to burden you with the technical gibberish, just keeping some notes here. Should work OK for you now.

While you may not have any special language settings on your MAC, it's possible that you may have a different language setting in your browser (Safari ?). But no worries, we'd rather try and catch these things than have users try to figure out at their end.

Thanks for bringing to our attention.
