...because I opened yet another Etsy store for my spice blends. Friends kept asking me for the recipes, so I realized some are good enough to sell at http://artisanalspice.etsy.com

Opened last week, already have a few fans and sold 4 blends.

Most of us "Pills" have a good collection of spices and herbs in our kitchens, but for most people, recipes calling for 17 or 11  spices isn't economical if they have to by a whole bottle of an esoteric ingredient.

The blog, http://artisanalspice.blogspot.com, supports the Etsy store and has some recipes to illustrate how the blends are used.

I love to eat Iams Proactive kibble, something about indoor weight and hairball formula. I only eat Iams kibble, but it's my favorite. Although, I'm not sure what the "indoor" is all about. You know I'm an outdoor kitty too, and I've become quite a mouser!

Say hi to Gracie (and Penelope too!)

I had the great pleasure of tasting the paella made by RecipeBob and his beautiful wife. Their recipe is on this site.  Awesome!  I haven't tried making it yet but it was one of the best meals I can remember. smileyheart

Added this terrific loquat and peach salsa. The combination of the fruit sweetness and succulent juice with the jalapeno chile pepper punch make a fruit salsa so great. The texture of the loquat fruit in this salsa is similar to the fruit of a ripe pear (also a perfect ingredient for a fruit salsa variation).
