Sweet Potato Casserole with Marshmallows

Description

This has always been our kids favorite dish at Thanksgiving.  None of our Thanksgiving would be complete without it and Grammie always makes sure it is made for her grandchildren!

Ingredients

  • 1 can sweet potatoes, 1 pound can
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsps nutmeg
  • 3/4 stick butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pkg mashmallows

Instructions

Warm potatoes, drain and mash.

Add eggs, sugar, nutmeg, butter and cinnamon.

Add milk last.

Whip with mixer.  Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes until center is set.

Put mashmallows on top and bake until light brown.
