Rum Cake
Description
Ingredients
- Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Cake Mix
- 1 pkg Vanilla pudding, instant
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup Crisco Oil
- 1/2 cup Rum (white Bacardi)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
Mix 1st 6 ingredients for 2 minutes.
Add chopped pecans in bottom of well greased bundt pan
Pour mixture on top of pecans and bake at 425 for 1 hour
Sauce:
1/2 cup Rum
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
Let boil 3 minutes. Pour over baked cake in pan.
Let stand for at least 45 minutes before removing.
