Pineapple Cake Filling - Katie Wright
Description
Ingredients
- 3 tbsps all purpose flour (heaping tablespoon)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 can crushed pineapple (small can)
- butter (size of an egg)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
Mix a heaping tablespoon of flour with the sugar. Add remaining ingredients, except for butter and vanilla and cook in a heavy boiler on low to medium heat until thick, add butter and vanilla at this time. Spread between 2 layer cake before covering with Seven "7" Minute Frosting.
