Recipe ingredients section - how do you label group of ingredients?

I notice that you have recipes that have section headings in the ingredients list. I can't figure out how to do this. For example, in this fish n chips recipe, you have a chips heading and a fish heading. What's the secret, how do you do this?
Work around when you have section headings
I have a recipe with 2 section headings and there are repeated ingrediants in each section. Ex. Extra-virgin olive oil. When I used the ingrediant again, it gave me the error message and I had to shorten to EVOO for it to take.
Again, I lost a line in the edit and need to reinsert an ingrediant in the proper section.
Thanks.
re: work around when you have section headings
nunzio04,
yes, duplicate ingredient descriptions within the same recipe are not currently allowed. An update that will be coming out soon will allow this. In the meantime, we usually suggest appending one or more asterisks (*) at the end of the description to differentiate similar/like ingredient entries such as ...
It's not ideal (and not exactly beautiful), but a workaround for now. Your workaround of changing the description is fine as well.
Which brings us to the other more annoying issue. Whenever you change or update an ingredient, currently it will cause the order in the list for that ingredient to change. A frustrating side effect. This will be fixed in the upcoming release, but in the meantime, we've just added a new column in the ingredients list that will allow you to re-order the ingredient list.
It's a tad clunky, but we really do need to provide a way to re-order the list before we're ready with the next update release, so hopefully this will help.
Notice the new 'item#' column. Let's say you want to flip item# 4, "coarse salt" with the last ingredient 'fresh ground black pepper'. You would change the item# for 'coarse salt' to 7 and the item# for 'fresh ground black pepper' to 4 as follows:
Then save the recipe to save your changes to the ingredient list order.
See if that works for you.
Yes, we've added this
Yes, we've added this capability to create headings in the recipe ingredient section, since this comes up quite often, for example a pie recipe may have a set of ingredients for the "Crust" and a set of ingredients for the "Filling".
To set an ingredient line as a "Heading", select "Label" from the "Units" drop-down. The heading text that you put in the "Ingredient Name" field will be converted to Title Case (first letter of each word upper case), and will be displayed in bold. See following example for the Fish n Chips recipe you referred to. "Chips" is the first heading, and "Fish" is the second heading a little further down.
And here is how it will be displayed ....

We'll be providing more (and better) documentation and tutorials as we move forward. Thanks for the great question, we know our members at Family Recipe Central will want to know about this.
