March 1 thru March 9, 2018

Mary with Gerald and Margie with Joe arrived for a visit on March 1. Judy and Nancy from PA arrived on the 7th. Lots and lots of laughs, memories recalled and created. Before the cousins arrived, we all ate at ’Anna Maria Oyster Bar’ and it was Jered’s treat—a gift for my birthday. We’ll go out again when Jeneve and family arrive after March 31–still on Jered’s treat!

Margie brought a couple of hundred dollars worth of cookbooks that Marcie was passing along. I think all of us took one or two and there are still some left to donate to Goodwill.

Goodwill—-We made many, many trips to lots of different ones and bought stuff we couldn’t do without. After Nancy left, I went back and bought a Kitchenaide mixer she wanted(she left a blank check)...I just have to ship it to her.

Margie dug out some old photos of family and messaged them to me to share with the Cousins....they’re new to us, we’ve never seen most of them before. I also shared them with Joe Palanza whose done a lot of family history research. Joe is the great-grandson of Aunt Mary from NYC.

Margie and Joe as well as Mary and Gerald are their same selves as are Joan and I. It’s been a very long time since we’ve seen Judy and even longer for a visit with Nancy. I think we’re all resolved to keeping closer contact. I know that I’ll make the visit to Midland next December when they have their Ranalli-Spasani reunion.

Everyone got a copy of the new edition of Mom’s recipe book. They pointed out some pretty funny typos and so I have more work to do——-a labor of love, of course.
